Documents you will need
You only upload the Permiso de Circulación (green paper logbook) and sales contract now. Please have the remaining documents ready for the secure upload after we confirm the cost and receive payment.
Registered owner
- DNI or TIE plastic card, both sides.
- If the owner has neither card: passport plus NIE number/document.
- Tarjeta de Inspección Técnica (Ficha Técnica), both sides.
- 2025 IVTM/SUMA (road tax) payment receipt, if available. If you do not have the receipt or a complete DGT vehicle report issued in 2026, SE Advice can obtain the required report for you.
Buyer
- DNI or TIE plastic card, both sides.
- If the buyer has neither card: passport plus white NIE document or small green residency card, and proof of address.
- Accepted address proof: recent empadronamiento issued within the last 3 months, property deeds/copia simple, or a Spanish rental contract for at least 6 months.
Sales Contract
- Completed Spanish sales contract signed by both parties. Download a contract template.
Electronic signature
- Email address and Spanish mobile number to receive the electronic-signature code by SMS text. (Can be a friend/family member’s.)
Send the two initial documents below so we can check the sale and confirm the actual ITP cost. No payment is taken at this stage.
